Unidentified Objects or UO's are items, described as unknown Veil sector resources, found in loot and are BSGO's version of mystery treasure chests.
To open one, a Technical Analysis Kit is required. Once opened, the player will receive one or more item which are then placed into the players Hold or Locker. A maximum of 1,000 UO's can be opened at any one time and can only be opened when a player is docked at a base or outpost.
As of Game Update 50, loot changes introduced two additional UOs and altered the rewards of the standard UO, which was renamed to Lost Unidentified Object. The three different types of Unidentified Objects are:
Lost Unidentified ObjectEdit
Lost Unidentified Objects or LUOs reward players with common boosters (e.g. 1,000 or 5,000 Experience Point Boosters, 1.5 x/1 hour Merit boosters) and a low amount of resources such as Tylium and Cubits. Analyse LUOs with a Tech Analysis Kit.

Ancient Unidentified ObjectEdit
Ancient Unidentified Objects or AUOs were previously introduced during the Awakening Event to award players event materials but were then reintroduced with the Loot changes from Update 50.
